Therapy That Meets You Where You Are And Helps You Move Forward

Your path to healing is uniquely yours. And the way you get there should be, too.

Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. I offer two distinct approaches: traditional virtual counseling in a private, supportive online setting and Mountain Bike Therapy, which combines counseling with movement and the outdoors.

Whatever challenges bring you to therapy, my approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to you. Together, we'll build self-understanding, develop healthier coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

Mountain Bike Therapy

A unique, experiential approach to therapy that uses movement, nature, and the trail to support healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. Together, we'll build confidence, navigate life's challenges, and create meaningful change, on and off the bike.

Finding Power in Counseling

Life can often feel overwhelming, and having a dedicated space where you are truly heard, understood, and supported can make a profound difference. Sometimes, the most meaningful changes simply begin with a brave conversation.

Understanding Your Therapy Journey

Traditional talk therapy offers a vital opportunity to slow down, explore your thoughts and emotions, work through obstacles, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. Whether you are navigating anxiety, complex relationships, or major life transitions, we will work together to find a path forward that feels uniquely right for you.

Safe Virtual Consultations

Through secure virtual sessions, I offer a warm and strictly confidential space where you can show up exactly as you are, all from the comfort of your own home. You don't have to navigate life's challenges on your own anymore.

Are you ready for change? Reaching out is where your transformation begins.

Understanding Your Mountain Bike Therapy Journey

Sometimes, the trail gives us a different way to work through what's happening in our lives. Mountain bike therapy combines traditional counseling with movement and the outdoors, creating opportunities to explore thoughts, emotions, and challenges in a supportive, real-world setting.

As we ride, we may work on managing anxiety, quieting negative self-talk, building confidence, setting healthy boundaries, and learning to respond to frustration or uncertainty. Moments on the trail can help us recognize patterns, practice emotional regulation, and develop coping strategies that carry over into everyday life.

Whether you're new to mountain biking or have been riding for years, sessions are tailored to your comfort level and personal goals. We may ride, pause to talk, reflect on an experience, or practice a new way of approaching a challenge.

And while you may become a more confident and capable rider along the way, the real value is in what you take with you beyond the trail; greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and the confidence to navigate life's challenges.

Is Mountain Bike Therapy Right for You?

Every rider brings their own experiences, challenges, and goals to the trail. I've shared three different rider descriptions below to help you see where you might fit. Take a moment to read through them and see what resonates with you. Mountain bike therapy is therapy on the bike, not a skills clinic, so the focus is always on your emotional well-being and personal growth. If you see a little of yourself in one of these riders, I'd love to hear from you and explore how we might work together.

Riders Taking the First Step

You want to ride, but fear, anxiety, or self-doubt have kept you from getting started. You may worry about not being good enough, feeling judged, or not belonging on the trail. This may be a fit if you:

✓ Want to try mountain biking but feel intimidated

✓ Struggle with fear of failure or judgment

✓ Want to build confidence in a supportive environment

✓ Are ready to challenge yourself at your own pace

Riders Using the Trail for Healing

You already ride and feel a connection to the trail. You’re looking for a more experiential way to work through life’s challenges by combining therapy, movement, and the outdoors. This may be a fit if you:

✓ Want therapy that feels active and outside the traditional office setting

✓ Find riding helps you feel grounded and present

✓ Want to explore emotions, patterns, confidence, and personal growth

✓ Are navigating stress, anxiety, transitions, or feeling stuck

Riders Ready to Break Through

You already ride, but fear or self-doubt are keeping you from progressing. You know your skills are growing, but your confidence isn’t always keeping up. This may be a fit if you:

✓ Avoid certain trails, features, or challenges

✓ Feel stuck at the same level

✓ Compare yourself to other riders

✓ Want to strengthen your mindset and trust yourself more
